Important Information: Dr. Wolfgang Goetz, the initiator and founder of Parkinson World, died on February 6. 2009, after a strong and hard fight against several illnesses.We lost an extraordinary person within our inner circle. We are grateful for all the inspiring, creative and beautiful days and hours that we could spend toegther with Dr. Wolfgang Goetz. His never ending enthusiasm, his unbelievable positive view of Life it self and his engagement in the fight against the Parkinsons Disease have been truly unique in Germany. We received many Emails, phone calls and letters from Parkinsons Patients from all over the world which lead us to the decision to keep this webseite alive. We hope that the information you find in our database will help you to understand the complex nature of the Parkinsons Disease a little bit more. We are curently trying to finish a book project that Dr. Wolfgang Goetz wasn´t able to finish because of his unexpected death.
